Precision metal polishing with the LHW/E. The Proxxon medium-hard polishing felt is designed for polishing metals — particularly stainless steel, brass, and copper — using the hook and loop (Velcro) mounting system of the Proxxon LHW/E Longneck Angle Grinder and compatible 50mm tools. The medium-hard felt density provides effective polishing action with compound while conforming to slightly curved surfaces. Two discs per pack.

50mm Polishing & Finishing Sequence

For best results on metal surfaces with the LHW/E, work through the following sequence:

1. K 1000 flexible sanding pads — fine sanding to remove surface defects
2. K 2000 flexible sanding pads — ultra-fine pre-polish sanding
3. Medium-hard polishing felt (No. 28666) with polishing compound — metal polishing pass
4. Lambswool polishing discs (No. 28664) — final high-gloss finish on clear coat and lacquered surfaces
