Collection: Specialty Tile Tools & Accessories

Professional-grade specialty tools for tile contractors who need more than a straight cut. From diamond wire radius cutting kits and drilling gel to wet cutting water attachments and precision Proxxon bits — this collection covers the jobs that standard equipment can’t handle.

What’s in This Collection

• Diamond Wire Cord Radius Cutting Kit (CORD SET) — Cut curves, circles, and radius shapes in porcelain tile that no blade can achieve. The go-to solution for curved cuts around pipes, columns, and custom design elements.
• Tile Drilling Gel – Mechanic CoolGEL 250 — Dust-free cooling gel for drilling into porcelain and ceramic tile. Applied around the drill point, it cools the bit, suppresses dust, and prevents cracking — especially on polished or glazed surfaces.
• Angle Grinder Water Attachment – Mechanic Spray System — Converts your 4.5"–5" angle grinder to wet cutting without a wet saw. Attaches directly to the grinder and delivers a controlled water flow to the blade for cleaner cuts and extended blade life.
• Proxxon Diamond Drilling & Grinding Bits (0.8mm–3.2mm) — Ultra-fine diamond bits for precision drilling and grinding in porcelain, ceramic, glass, and stone. Available in 0.8mm, 1.0mm, 1.5mm, and 3.2mm ball variants for detail work inaccessible to standard drill bits.
• Proxxon Solid Carbide Ceramic Tile Cutter (for FEX) — Carbide scoring and cutting tool for use with the Proxxon FEX multi-tool. Clean, controlled cuts on ceramic tile without a blade.
• Proxxon Tungsten Carbide Cut-Off Wheel — 20mm cut-off wheel for wood, CFK, GRP, and rubber. For mixed-material jobsite work where a diamond blade isn’t the right tool.
• Polishing Support Adapter for Proxxon Engravers — Universal and Velcro variants for attaching polishing pads to Proxxon engraver tools. Extends the Proxxon system into surface polishing and finishing applications.

When to Use Specialty Tools

• Curved or radius cuts: No diamond blade cuts a curve — the CORD SET diamond wire kit is the professional solution for radius work in porcelain.
• Drilling tile without cracking: Use CoolGEL around the drill point to cool the bit and prevent thermal cracking on polished or large-format porcelain.
• Wet cutting without a wet saw: The Mechanic Spray System turns your angle grinder into a wet cutter — ideal when a tile saw isn’t on site.
• Precision detail work: Proxxon diamond bits reach into spaces and scales that standard drill bits can’t — essential for fixture holes, glass work, and fine stone detail.

Pair these specialty tools with angle grinder diamond blades, Proxxon precision tools, and dust collection shrouds for a complete professional tile cutting system.
